What is important

a)What is the main point of devotional service
“Always remember Krishna and Never forget Krishna”
The pleasure of The Supreme Personality of Godhead Sri Krishna is the whole point of being a vaishnava.

b)What does Sri Krishna explain he likes very much.

When Sri Uddhava ji asks the Lord about detailed knowledge of Pure Devotional service the Lord replies in the 11 Canto, 19 chapter verses 20-24
“mad-bhakta-pujaabhyadhikaa” or “performing first-class worship of My vaishnavas,”,

Please do note that this thing has been mentioned in many other places by our acharyas , and the above is just one instance.

So, what pleases Sri Krishna is the pleasure of His vaishnavas.

Notice the word used is “Puja”. Puja means worship, Who do we generally Worship ? Sri Krishna and Sri Guru. But here Sri Krishna says he likes puja of Mad-Bhakta or puja of His vaishnavas.

Those who do Puja or deity worship in the temple, they know what kind of perfection and care is needed in Deity Worship. And now here Sri Krishna uses the same word.

In fact it is said that if one is doing Deity Worship Aarti and a vaishnava arrives, and there is no one to take care or welcome that vaishnava, one must attend to that vaishnava.

c)What do we do, to serve vaishnavas?
Our mind has been scheming to please our senses since time immemorial, let us now make just change the focus of that scheming to please the vaishnavas of the Lord.

d)Who is a vaishnava ?
The next logical question is who is a vaishnava. As per Our Lord Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu anyone who has chanted Hare Krishna even once, that person is a vaishnava.

e)Do I serve and please every one ?
From a person who has chanted Hare Krishna once to the pure vaishnava of the Lord, all such persons are objects of our service.

How we serve different levels of vaishnavas is an art to be developed, and learnt over time.

f)Why does it matter to please vaishnavas ?
It matters because the Lord and His Pure vaishnavas may not accecpt our service if we do not please vaishnavas.

Two stories come to mind

Sripad Ramanuja Acharya was travelling and then he arrived in a village where he had two disciples, one very rich and one very poor. He sent two of his disciples to meet with the rich man to tell him that they Himslef and his dicsiples would come for prasad. They met the rich discpile and told hime and came back. Sripad Ramanuja Acharya asked them what happened. The Disciples said that the Rich Disciple was overjoyed and he immediately has made all the arrangements and is very eargerly waiting for all of us to go there. Then Sripad Ramanuja Acharya asked oh, How did this rich dsicple treat you ? They said he was so overjoyed that he sort of forgot about us and so we left. Sripad Ramanuja Acharya said ok now go to the poor disciples house and tell him that we will be going there for prasadam. They went and told the poor disciple. He was also very overjoyed and he and his wife were mad with happiness, bit also they were very very concious of these two disciplew who came with the message, they sat them down and gave them water and talked sweetly with them. When they retured Sripad Ramanuja Acharya asked them the same question, and very pleased that they had been welcomed so nicely Sripad Ramanuja Acharya decied that he would go the poor disciples house for prasad.

Another story is from the time of Srila Rupa and Sanatan Goswami.
Srila Rupa Goswami was meditating on Krishna leela. There was some funny pastime going on in th eternal leela. At that time one vaishnava came in front of him, This vaishnava's body was a bit disfigured and thus he was laughed at by many. Anyway so in this Krishna leela, something very funny happened and thus Srila Rupa Goswami laughed, and this vaishnava felt that Srila Rupa Goswami is laughing at me , and thus feeling dejected left the place. Sri Skrishna did not like it and thus Srila Rupa Goswami's mediation was broken. He did not know why, and he went to meet his elder brother and vaishnava Srila Sanatan Goswami and explained the situation, who told him to ask forgivness form the other vaishnava. So we see that the vaishnava did not not say anything, He just left, but still a vaishnava of the stature of Srila Rupa Goswami's meditation was broken. Srila Rupa goswami did not knowingly hurt the feelings of the vaishnava, In fact he did not even know that this other vaishnava was present!!

I have heard that, Lord Jesus Christ explained to His disciples, "How you treat the least among you that is how you treat me."

My experience as a student pune
I had just started to associate with vaishnavas, and was asked to travel by His Grace Krishna Nanda Prabhu to a house program at Pune. I went to the program. The house was very simple and also the means of the vaishnavas living there seemed limited. Then after the lecture I and one more friend were getting a bit late, so I started to get up to leave as I was going , the mother/wife of the household, spoke to me in a way that it did not disturb the speaker. She asked me to take some prasad. I said no I am getting late.

Then with an expression almost like begging for alms, hands folded in prayer, she begged me to have prasad. Why? Who was I ? I was not even a vaishnava like the others. But the way she spoke, was in a way that I felt I was doing her such great a favour by having prasad at her humble home, how could I refuse ?

This was so different from many homes in india, where the guest is told, “How can you leave my Home without Food ? That is not our Tradition”. It always has an air of superiority of their home tradition vs others.
Me and my friend honoured the prasad that she fed with such love and kindness. I do not remember the lecture that say but I do know that when I feed prasad to any vaishnava advanced or not, in fact even a vaishnava or not, I must at least try to do it like her.

That lady feeding with that kind of service attitude, is what inspires us to go on in Krishna Consciousness.

Conclusion
If every vaishnava wants o serve and please other vaishnavas and wants nothing in return we will have Vaikuntha on earth.
